How do I ensure that all the Legal & Financial arrangements are met ?

You would not dream of purchasing property here in the UK without legal representation and this also applies when purchasing in Spain. We have arrangements with fully qualified English speaking solicitors in Spain, who cover all aspects of your purchase and any after sale issues.

How much will this cost ?
A good guide is to allow 10% of the Purchase Price to cover all Legal, financial and other matters .

For example –
1) IVA ( Spanish VAT ) is 7 %
2) Solicitors Fees ( on average 1 % )
3) Notary Fees for registering the Title Deed.
4) Water / Electricity connection Fees.

What are the average running costs of a Property?
» Electricity - £150 -£200
» Water - £150 -£200
» Community Fees - £200-£1,000 (Depending on the Community or Resort you purchase,
   subject to facilities available.)
» Local Rates - £200 - £250
» House Insurance - £200 - £250.
